Role Description

The Demand Generation lead is a critical inbound marketing role, responsible for developing and executing data-driven demand generation strategies to fuel the sales pipeline. You will lead the creation and promotion of engaging content targeting B2B SaaS startups. You are well versed with the challenges and opportunities that product and revenue leaders face at data-driven businesses and confidently engage executive personas. This position requires domain experience in data driven technologies and a deep understanding of B2B marketing tactics and digital channels in a startup setting. What You Bring to the Team

  • 5 – 12 years of experience in demand generation and content marketing at B2B SaaS companies. Ability to navigate effectively with limited resources in a startup setting.
  • Proven track record in content marketing and distribution with strong writing and content creation skills and a keen eye for engaging and persuasive messaging.
  • Strong domain knowledge and understanding of the modern data stack, data warehousing, business intelligence and product analytics tools
  • Hands-on understanding on the use of LinkedIn, email marketing, marketing automation, image and video editing tools to reach the target audience
  • Hands-on expert in utilizing marketing automation tools to segment audiences, set up automated workflows, and deliver personalized content to prospects and leads.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute data-driven demand generation strategies that generate leads and convert prospects into customers.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools to measure campaign success and drive data-backed decision-making.
  • Prior experience in product management or marketing of product analytics (Pendo, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Heap) or data intelligence (Snowflake, Looker, Metabase etc) tools is a strong plus
  • A bachelor / master’s degree in CS, marketing, business, or a related field is preferred.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement demand generation strategies targeting leadership personas in the B2B SaaS segment.
  • Develop messaging for product, data analytics and CS personas, create compelling content for distribution across multiple digital channels – blogs, newsletters, webinars, podcasts, LinkedIn, videos.
  • Create and manage lead nurturing campaigns to drive engagement and move prospects through the sales funnel.
  • Lead the growth of RevSignal Podcast to identify compelling topics, source credible guests, drive engagement and build distribution for this thought-provoking series.
    Continuously monitor and analyze the performance of demand generation efforts, track key metrics, and provide insights to refine strategies for better results.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand their needs and align demand generation efforts with sales objectives, ensuring seamless lead handoff.
  • Develop clear and concise reports on campaign performance, KPIs, and ROI to share with the marketing team and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and design, to achieve shared goals.

This is a full-time marketing position with preferred location in the Greater Salt Lake area, Utah, or at our HQ in Palo Alto, CA and is scheduled to work 40 hours per week, M-F unless otherwise required by project activities. Option to work remotely is available for highly qualified candidates. The target pay range for this role is commensurate with experience, geographic location, market value and accompanied by our full benefits package.
