AWS Partner Sales Director
Location: Santa Clara (Preferred for Full-Time) / Open to Remote for Contractors

We are seeking an experienced AWS Partner Sales Director who has well established relationships with AWS sales team, able to develop and execute joint go-to-market strategies around Data Management, Data Engineering and AI use cases, and thrives in a fast-moving startup environment.
About the Role
As AWS Partner Sales Director, you will focus on building the top of the funnel sales pipeline via co-sell and referral programs with AWS. You will build and manage strong relationships with AWS partner teams and sellers through regular communication and joint planning sessions. You will work at the intersection of data management and AI/ML to create innovative GTM solutions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, works collaboratively with a team, is execution focused and iterates quickly on GTM solutions and approaches. Open to either full time or contracting role.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute co-sell initiatives with AWS, focusing on Data Engineering and AI/ML solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with AWS partner teams and sellers through regular communication and joint planning sessions
- Collaborate with the founders and internal sales team to organize and execute activities that accelerate lead generation and nurture opportunities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in partnership with AWS, leveraging their market position and technological innovations
- Responsible for driving top of the funnel pipeline and produce and share weekly revenue forecasts with the management team
- Engage with existing partners to drive interest in AWS solutions and create net-new AWS partnerships
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies aimed at achieving success in the AWS Marketplace
- Manage and elevate the AWS partnership, including partner status and certifications, to AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner
What We Are Looking For
- 5-10 years of experience in sales management, partner management, or business development,
- Proven and verifiable track record of driving revenue growth through partner ecosystems
- Good understanding of AWS services in Data Management and AI domains
- Experience with AWS Partner Network (APN) and AWS ISV Accelerate Program
- Strong communication, relationship building and disciplined execution skills
- Proficiency in partner sales pipeline management and sales forecasting
- Bonus: familiar with modern data lakehouse architectures and AI/ML data workflows
Results Orientation
- Measured on increase in AWS-originated opportunities delivered for co-selling
- Growth in revenue generated through AWS co-sell and referral programs
- Expansion of partner ecosystem in Data Management and AI/ML solutions.
- Improvement in partner engagement metrics and AWS partnership status
